In 2010 Silawrap gave customers the unique opportunity to win 2 sets of sports jerseys for local sports clubs. Padraig Mc Weeney won a set and decided to give it to the Shannon Gaels ladies football club in county Roscommon. Padraig purchased his Silawrap from Connacht Gold, Kiltoghert branch.
Shannon Gaels ladies club was set up in 2006
and caters for all ages. Currently the club has
6 teams and has won a number of titles at
underage level. The second set of Jerseys was
won by Aodh MacCraith from Ring Co
Waterford. Aodh is the principle of Ring
Primary School. This school caters for over
110 boys and girls playing soccer, hurling,
football and camogie. He purchased his
Silawrap from Jim Quinn Agri Supplies,
Dungarvan.
